I've used these in some of mega storms recently and still working fine, fingers crossed just a dodgy one for you and doesn't happen again. value wise, could be best on market. sensitivity still an issue if its really windy even on lowest setting. I had rx+ and they are a different beast, just downsized to save some money. i dont think any other brand matches fox right now on the alarm front. RX+ best out there and micron x best value for money.

It's not about that though. It's the signal strength that is important. You'd be surprised how poorly some perform when there is heavy foliage or other obstructions between the alarms and receiver. Microns are always difficult to determine since this is entirely subject to the circumstances. It's because they are letting paying customers test them out to find out, standard fox field testing....The FoxMini Micron is a modern re-worked version of the old school classic Mini Micron Bite Alarm but this one boasts a number of great new features.

Really? Fair enough, I think it's always a very handy feature of any alarm to know what way the line has moved. Maybe it's just me!

It's a load of ********,I have these alarms and so do 3 lads I fish with and never once had false bleeps.I have fished massive open windswept waters and the rx+ have been spot on. I have hard plastic adjustment ones the rx come with ill use them to get it solid, but still doesn't mean they all be same height on buzzbar thats my point.
